Downsizing on the horizon

We had never planned to do bed & breakfast until we depart this world and unfortunately, Garybuie is not a house for two! So, time to downsize. We love the glen, both the scenery and the people. However, there’s nothing for sale here so we formed a cunning plan! We decided to demolish the old church and in its place, build a small, energy efficient home. When complete, we will sell Garybuie and move into the wee house.

Work began on the 8th March and will be completed by the 11th October.

The joiners are due to arrive in a couple of days, so we’ll begin to move upwards!

Hi Christine, it looks like you are both OK. Exciting times with a new house built to your own specification. I hope you will still have room for your hens. I think Covid has made many B&B owners think twice about starting up again. Take care,
    Diane & Andy
