Keeping cool

The U.K. has been bathed in glorious sunshine these past few days, with record temperatures instigating helpful suggestions by the news channels on how to deal with such conditions. It makes me wonder how we dealt with hot weather in years gone by without the wisdom of the BBC to guide us! However, the rest of the U.K. is one thing but Skye? Last week, shrouded in mist and its accompanying drizzle, our poor guests were unaware that there is an impressive ridge at the head of the glen! But now things have changed, temperatures are soaring and blue skies abound. One thing’s for sure, the residents of Garybuie don’t need advice from the News 24 on how to keep cool…
