Early visitors

There were two more ducklings awaiting me this morning and they were soon introduced to yesterday’s pair. What’s the collective noun for a group of sleeping ducklings do you think? A Heap perhaps ?

Between sleeping and eating however, they managed to meet some early visitors – some they weren’t too keen on…

…and others they were happier to become acquainted with. Hans and Marie-Christine have been our guests for the past three nights and were pleased to be able to meet our new arrivals on the morning of their departure.

They have stayed with us before. Hans is a wonderful photographer and on this occasion presented us with his book, ‘The Isle of Skye; a collection of landscape photographs’. If you like, you can visit his website to see many such photographs, but also others of different subject matter.
